Even though Lamborghini introduced the Roadster version of the Aventador less than three months ago, it seems the new model is already a hit as the Italian supercar maker has received enough orders to keep the production line busy until mid-2014. This piece of information comes from German publication Auto Motor und Sport which we consider as being a very reliable source.
What this means if that someone with deep pockets would place an order for an Aventador Roadster today, he’d get his car probably in the fall of 2014 which is a long time to wait but just by having a look at the car we know it’s definitely worth it.
The power of this roadster beautiful beast comes from a huge V12 6.5-liter engine unleashing no less than 700 HP (515 kW) and a maximum torque of 507 lb-ft (690 Nm). Thanks to this massive engine, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in just three seconds, before reaching a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
In Europe, the Aventador Roadster starts from 300,000 euros, while in North America it is available for a steep $441,600, without taking into account any applicable taxes.
