Lexus has recently launched an Executive Edition of the IS 300h destined exclusively for the United Kingdom market. What sets this model apart are the 17-inch alloy wheels together with HID headlights, GPS navigation, as well as leather seats and a dual-zone climate control system. This version is already on sale and can be had at a starting price of 29,995 pounds. It was designed for people who want a luxury sedan but also care about the environment as the model can return 53.4 mpg US (64.2 mpg UK or 4.4 liters / 100 km) with corresponding CO2 emissions of only 103 g/km.
The Lexus IS 300h Executive Edition (UK-spec) is motivated by a hybridized four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine providing a combined output of 223 PS (164 kW). Thanks to this hardware arrangement, the model is capable of completing the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 8.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h).
