A striking and beautiful concept unveiled today at the Paris Motor Show is this Lexus LF-CC that previews the next generation of the company’s IS Coupe. It is a follow-up to the LF-LC that was presented at the beginning of the year in Detroit. We are dealing with a RWD, front-engined concept that adopts a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4-cylinder 2.5-liter engine with direct injection, along with a compact electric motor, a battery, a generator, a central control unit and a power split device.
We don’t know the car’s performance figures, but Lexus says that it has CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km.
The LF-CC is 4660mm long, 1840mm wide and is 1375mm tall, with a wheelbase that measures 2730mm. The suspension of the concept consists of a double wishbone up front while at the back adopts a multi-link layout. It rolls on those beautiful 20-inch alloy wheels that are covered by 245/35 tires for the front wheel and 285/30 rubbers for the rear wheels.
The interior cabin of the Lexus LF-CC draws its inspiration from the limited edition LFA, borrowing several elements of the instrument panel, steering wheel and the dashboard from the company’s current flagship model.
