Lexus LF-NX Turbo breaks cover

It was September when Lexus shocked the IAA crowd in Frankfurt with the striking LF-NX. The car will be shown again later on this month at the Tokyo Motor Show but it will be the Turbo version.

The differences between the two cars in terms of design will be restricted to a front under spoiler and a lowered center of gravity.

The interior will host a remote touch interface sporting support for a touchpad which should enable easier user maneuverability.

The biggest change will occur under the hood where the LF-NX’s Atkinson-cycle, 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter gasoline engine will be removed in order to make room for an all-new 2.0-liter turbo engine which according to Lexus will provide “guaranteed power and improved fuel economy.”

At the moment there are no details regarding the possibility of seeing a production version based on either of these two LF-NX concepts.
