Lexus unveils the RC F GT500
Lexus has taken the wraps off the RC F GT500 which has been developed to participate in this year’s season of the SuperGT Series. The racer has been equipped with an extremely wide and aggressive body kit that comes with carbon fiber canards, ventilated front fenders, a huge rear diffuser and a prominent rear wing which provides the vehicle with a very menacing look. It will receive its racing debut on April 6th when the 2014 season of the Super GT series will commence.
Lexus hasn’t said anything about what powers the car but we remind you the road-going version is motivated by a V8 5.0-liter engine unleashing 450 bhp and a maximum torque of 518 Nm. The road-legal RC F will need just 4.6 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) and will keep on accelerating until hitting a maximum speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
