In this video we get to see Christian Gebhardt from SportAuto.de taking the McLaren 12C Spider for a drive to test its top speed. McLaren says the car is able to reach a maximum speed of 204 mph (329 km/h), but Christian was able to reach 215 mph (346 km/h), or at least that’s what the speedometer said.
The on-board GPS recorded a top speed of 213 mph (343 km/h) which is still more than McLaren’s official numbers. The British marque says 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is done in 3.1 seconds, while 0-100 mph (0-161 km/h) takes 6.1 seconds. Finally, 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) is achieved in 9 seconds.
