McLaren 675LT gets promo clip at Castellolí track
The McLaren 675LT (Long Tail) is at the forefront of a fresh promotional clip recorded in Spain at the Castellolí circuit. The attached video was released to celebrate the fact that McLaren has commenced limited-run production series of the model which was originally unveiled back in March this year at the Geneva Motor Show. Don’t get your hopes up too high on driving one of these as McLaren has previously mentioned the 675LT is sold out as all of the 500 cars programed to reach the assembly line have already been ordered, despite the hefty $349,500 price tag in United States while in UK it was available for a cool £259,500.
We remind you the McLaren 675LT is the most powerful and quickest model of the company’s Super Series and compared to the 650S it’s not only 100 kg lighter, but also more powerful as the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine has been massaged to deliver an extra 25 PS and 22 Nm for a grand total of 675 PS and 700 Nm of torque.
With more powerful and a lighter body, it’s no wonder the McLaren 675LT will perform the 0-100 km/h task in as little as 2.9 seconds on its way onto a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
