The McLaren P1 has made its first appearance on U.S. territory after arriving at the dealership in Newport Beach, California. Thanks to this short clip we take a closer look at the interior cabin which as you can see has received the full carbon fiber treatment to lower the car’s curb weight as much as possible. All carbon fiber surfaces lack the top layer of resin which has decreased weight by 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs). Each adjustable seat has a carbon fiber shell weighing 10.5 kg (23.1 lbs). There still are comfort goodies such as sat-nav system, climate control and a premium audio system. It also features a race-inspired digital dash which gives the driver all the relevant info.
