Mercedes-Benz G500 upgraded by Lorinser

The aftermarket specialists from Lorinser have released a tuning kit for the Mercedes-Benz G500. Work started on the turbocharged V8 engine which has received a series of upgrades along with a new sports exhaust system and a power enhancement module that boosted output to an impressive 490 PS available at 5,500 rpm while peak torque stands at 690 Nm. The extra punch costs € 6,000 and ensures a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in as little as 5.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 130 mph (210 km/h) which is very impressive given the car’s sheer size and weight.

It now sits on a new set of 22-inch five triple-spoke wheels shod in 295/35 R22 tires and has been fitted with a new front grille that optimizes airflow to ensure superior cooling to the upgraded engine. Lorinser applied on this Mercedes-Benz G500 larger side skirts while at the back there’s a new spare wheel cover and a custom deck lid spoiler – all part of a body kit that costs €4,360.

We don’t have pics of the interior right now, but the tuner says they can apply personalized floor mats, wood or piano trims, carbon fiber accents and several types of leather for the upholstery.
