StudioTorino is an Italian design house who had the idea of a shooting brake version of the Mercedes-Benz SL. Their project is entitled Coupetorino 2013 and is the work of six design students who collaborated with Global Advance Design Mercedes-Benz.
They developed a 1:4 scale model and this project represents an evolution of the 2008 Cupetorino which was based on the SL-Class. We don’t know whether Mercedes-Benz plans such a version for the SL, but most certainly there is a market for a Shooting Brake SL.
