Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Radar Safety Edition introduced in Japan
Mercedes-Benz’s Japan division has introduced a special edition of the SLK 200 known as Radar Safety Edition. Only 100 units will be made which will be distinguished by several goodies such as the AMG Sport Package and a Magic Sky Control panoramic roof. The aforementioned AMG kit encompasses a front bumper, side skirts, rear fascia, 18-inch rims and AMG-branded brake calipers. On the inside it has Bengal Red Nappa leather seats as well as “solar red” ambient lightning.
Mercedes-Benz mentions the limited-run SLK 200 can be configured with a Radar Safety Package which has Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Brake Assist Plus and Distronic Plus. Under the hood it has a 1.8-liter turbocharged gasoline engine developing 184 HP and a peak torque of 199 lb-ft.
Those who want this model better hurry up and get one of the 100 cars which are each priced from ¥6,330,000.
