MG CS Concept arrives in Shanghai

The MG CS Concept has been unveiled last Saturday at the start of the 2013 Auto Shanghai. There’s limited information available about the car at this moment but most likely it’s based on the MG3 platform. As far as the styling is concerned, it was penned by a team which was managed by British chief designer Anthony Williams-Kenny. The car has received blacked out A-pillars, concave door panels, underbody protection and air vents in the front wings. We also notice a big lower intake, creases on the bonnet and a narrow front grille which runs out from the headlights.

According to the latest rumors and speculations, a production version based on this concept will be out around 2015 and should have a starting price of about 15,000 pounds. The engine lineup is believed to include a 1.9-liter diesel, as well as 1.5- or 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline mills.
