MINI presented today a trio of concepts described as summer getaway cars. These are called the Clubvan Camper, Cowley and Countryman ALL4 Camp and will remain only conceptual vehicles. The Clubvan Camper provides a sleeping berth for a person and comes along with a useful small kitchenette which can be extended and has a propane stove and chest fridge. Other features include a hand-held shower that has a water tank mounted underneath the load floor, together with a glass roof that can be opened and a handy satellite-navigation system so that you won’t get lost during your summer adventures.
Moving on to the MINI Cowley, this has two sleeping berths and a water tank with a pump and sink. It has also been configured with a twin-burner gas stove and a solar module to charge the on-board battery, while the fridge, TV/DVD and sound system are powered by the incorporated 230-volt outlet. It also comes with a 300 kg (661 lbs) teardrop-shaped trailer with dual sliding windows.
Lastly, the MINI Countryman ALL4 Camp packs a tent mounted on the roof which can accommodate two people. The vehicle has received an attractive Absolute Black metallic paint scheme and has a custom bicycle rack at the rear.
