Mitsubishi’s UK arm has introduced the L200 Challenger which is being described as their “best value for money pick-up” ever offered. The model is already on sale for £16,499 and in return you will be getting 17-inch alloy wheels, climate AC, cruise control, automatic rain and light sensors, along with a privacy glass and Bluetooth connectivity. Other goodies on the menu include leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, a long load bed and optional leather upholstery. It can be had in any of the exterior paints offered for the regular L200 and comes equipped as standard with the Mitsubishi Active Stability & Traction Control (M-ASTC) system.
The Mitsubishi L200 Challenger (UK-spec) is powered exclusively by a four-cylinder 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine outputting 175 bhp (131 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque channeled to a four-wheel drive system with help from a five-speed manual gearbox.
