A tiny three-door Volkswagen Up! driven by Ronny Wechselberger has managed to take down the Guinness World Record for the tightest parallel parking. The car measures 3.54 meters (11 ft 7.73 in) and was squeezed into a 3.68 meters (12 ft 0.88 in) space. This was measured not only by a laser device but also with the measuring tape.
The previous record was achieved a few months ago when Han Yue drove a MINI Cooper Chinese Job special edition. Most likely, in a matter of months the record will go down once again, probably with a shorter car. We’ll have to wait and see.
