Nissan Leaf gains Acenta+ version in UK
The Nissan Leaf is now available in a new Acenta+ trim in United Kingdom. It is based on the mid-range Acenta, but comes with bespoke 17-inch wheels that have blue accents while a 6.6 kW on-board charger has been added and allows owners to fully recharge the car in just four hours. It comes generously equipped with a rearview camera, an automatic climate control system and an infotainment system packing a 7-inch screen. All this can be had for a starting price of £29,740, but once you add the government’s plug-in car grant, the price drops to £24,740. The Nissan Leaf Acenta+ is already available on order and deliveries should kick off sometime this fall.
Those who want more standard equipment should upgrade to the range-topping Tekna model which comes with heated front and rear seats, 360-degree Around View Monitor, Bose sound system with seven speakers and subwoofer, along with heated mirrors and steering wheel, full black leather trim as well as LED headlamps with Follow Me Home function.
It should be mentioned that with a fully charged battery, the Leaf can cover distances of up to 124 miles as tested in the NEDC cycle and it has running costs of just 2p per mile.
