Nissan Sunny facelift spied without any camouflage
What we have in these low-res photos is the minor facelift prepared by Nissan for the Sunny which depending on the market is also known as the Versa, Almera and Latio. It’s far from being a beautiful car but this is expected since we are dealing with a low-budget entry-level sedan designed for those who are in need for some cheap wheels to get them from point A to point B.
The blurry photos reveal that this facelift will be minor as it will focus primarily on the car’s front fascia. We see there’s a different front bumper, tweaked headlights and a prominent grille.
Other than that, the car has apparently received chrome trim for the trunk and fog light surrounds, while under the hood engines will probably be borrowed from the current model. In other words, expect at least the 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine which offers 108 bhp (81 kW) and 109 lb-ft (148 Nm) of torque.
Nissan will probably decide to unveil the facelifted Sunny in September at the Chengdu Motor Show.
