Nissan updates Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo
Nissan has disclosed plans to exhibit an updated version of the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo later this month. This will be an evolution of the original concept which was shown as a full-scale model back in 2014 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and this new variant will come with a slightly different look for the corporate V-Motion front grille while the body has an attractive red paint replacing the previous dark grey livery. Details regarding the concept’s technical specifications are not available at this point, but Nissan says it expresses the company’s dynamic performance and innovation through a real-world embodiment of a virtual car.
It is believed the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo serves as a preview for the next generation GT-R due to come out towards the end of 2017 or early 2018. Some of the concept’s styling will find its way on the second-gen GT-R which is believed to spawn a four-door sedan version that will be sold as an Infiniti, but that won’t come out right away so chances are we will not see it earlier than 2018.
Until a new GT-R, the current model is bound to receive one more update that will likely come out next year.
