The aftermarket specialists from Novitec Tridente have prepared an upgrade package for the elegant Maserati Quattroporte. Work started on the 3.0-liter diesel engine which has received a 47 PS (35 kW) & 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) power bump to 322 PS (237 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft). As a result of this change, the model can now sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds. Up next is the Quattroporte S which has gained 66 PS (49 kW) and 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) so it now develops 476 PS (350 kW) and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft).
Last but certainly not least, the range-topping Maserati Quattroporte GTS was also upgraded by Novitec Tridente as the twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter now develops 605 PS (445 kW) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft). Thanks to the 75 PS (55 kW) & 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) power hike, the GTS can run the sprint in 4.4 seconds before topping out at 197 mph (318 km/h).
Novitec Tridente is also offering 22-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension and a wide variety of carbon fiber body parts to match the added oomph.
