If you happen to own a 997 generation Porsche 911 GT2, you would be happy to hear that there’s an upgrade program available courtesy of OK-Chiptuning. They say power and performance of the car is now above the hardcore GT2 RS version which was produced by Porsche in a limited quantity of 500 cars. The vehicle seen here has been modified to deliver an impressive 680 HP and 880 Nm so it is not only 150 HP more powerful than the standard GT2 but at the same time it has 60 HP more than the aforementioned RS version.
This significant power hike can be had for just 3,500 EUR and it’s obtainable by remapping the engine’s ECU. The tuner mentions this software optimization is compatible with all 997 911 GT2 models. The car will need 5.1 seconds to get from 100 km/h to 200 km/h while the 100 km/h – 300 km/h run will take 18 seconds.
