Porsche has introduced this week the convertible versions of the 911 Turbo and Turbo S which are powered by the same engine inside the fixed roof version. We are talking about a 6-cylinder 3.8-liter turbocharged mill which churns 520 HP in the Turbo version and 560 HP in the Turbo S variant. The latter needs just 3.1 seconds to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run and it will keep on going until it reaches an electronically-capped top speed of 195 mph (314 km/h). According to Porsche, both cars are capable of returning 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.
The 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S are programmed to hit dealerships at the beginning of next year from a starting price of 160,700 USD if you opt for the Turbo model or from 193,900 USD if you select the Turbo S. It should be noted that none of these prices do not include the extra 950 USD in delivery fees.
