Porsche unleashes Boxster GTS with 330 HP
Porsche is proud to introduce a range-topping version of the Boxster called GTS which will be positioned above the previous S flagship variant. What sets this model apart is the extra 15 HP offered by the 6-cylinder 3.4-liter boxer engine which now develops 330 HP while the torque figure has also gone up by 10 Nm to 370 Nm. The model is configured as standard with the Sport Chrono Package as well as the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). It can be had with either a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional PDK.
When equipped with the manual ‘box, the 2014 Porsche Boxster GTS can reach a maximum speed of 175 mph (281 km/h) while with the PDK it needs just 4.7 seconds to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h). It borrows the 20-inch wheels from the 911 Carrera S and benefits from blacked-out bi-xenon headlights, different bumpers, together with leather upholstery, sports seats and an Alcantara trim.
Porsche is asking 69,949 euros for the Boxster GTS in Germany and 55,397 pounds in United Kingdom. Sales will kick off this May.
