The Mercedes E63 AMG facelift has received a significant power boost from the aftermarket specialists at Posaidon. The E63 AMG is no slouch in its standard configuration as Mercedes-Benz is offering an S-Model with no less than 585 HP (430 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) provided by the 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. If for some reason this isn’t enough, Posaidon is willing to bump the engine’s output to an impressive 853 HP (627 kW) and no less than 959 lb-ft (1,300 Nm). The added power was achieved after mounting two bigger turbochargers, making some electronic tweaks and mounting a custom exhaust system.
The Mercedes E63 AMG facelift by Posaidon has also received revisions to the gearbox and rear axle to comply with the additional power while the top speed has been increase from an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h) to 214 mph (345 km/h) which is also restricted so an unrestricted variant is even quicker.
Posaidon has also developed lesser packages for the Mercedes E63 AMG facelift and you get it with 630 HP (463 HP) or 749 HP (551 kW). There’s no word about pricing so you will have to contact the tuner to find out how much these upgrades will set you back.
