Porton is proud to announce a high-end version of the Suprima S which will be sold with the rather uninspiring “Super Premium” nameplate. The vehicle is wearing a more aggressive and sportier R3 body kit that brings a new front spoiler, rear bumper, side skirts and anthracite 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of safety the vehicle benefits from ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold assist system and six airbags. The cabin features paddle shifters, rearview camera, push start button, cruise control and leather upholstery.
Underneath the hood of the Proton Suprima S Super Premium is a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine delivering a rather modest 138 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque available between 2,000 rpm and 4,000 rpm.
Proton hasn’t said anything about the car’s performances but they did say the engine is coupled to a ProTronic CVT seven-speed gearbox while the car’s handling and ride has been tweaked by Lotus.
