Italian marque Lamborghini has decided to sue CARKITINC from Alabama because the company is selling various kit cars with Lamborghini design. Before suing, Lamborghini asked the firm’s owner to destroy the molds but he refused to do so and now they are about to face court. CARKITINC is offering replicas of many Ferrari and Lamborghinis, built form donor cars such as the Dodge Neon, Pontiac Fiero, Porsche Boxster and Toyota MR2. The result of this outcome seems pretty predictable taking into consideration the kit-car company doesn’t have legal rights to use Lamborghini’s designs.
