Skoda has taken the wraps off a new concept called VisionC which works as a preview for an upcoming five-door coupe based on the Octavia that will be launched in the years to come. The concept will be showcased next week at the 84th Geneva Motor Show where it will show its rather angular design while the dimensions of the vehicle are going to be enough to provide “plenty of room for four people and their luggage.” As you would expect, the Skoda VisionC concept rides on the MQB platform used for the standard Octavia and Octavia Combi models.
Its heart and soul is a four-cylinder, 1.4-liter TSI Euro 6-compliant bivalent engine that can run not only on gasoline but also on compressed natural gas (CNG). The motor develops 110 HP and it eats up 3.4 g/ km when running on CNG, with CO2 emissions standing at 91 g/km.
