Spyker B6 concept makes an apperance ahead of Geneva debut

Spyker is back in the automotive business with the B6 concept which will be shown starting tomorrow at the 2013 edition of the Geneva Motor Show. The Wall Street Journal says the car will wear the Venator moniker which in Latin means “hunter”.

Under the hood it is expected to feature a mid-engine V6 unleashing 375 hp (280 kW). The car will boast a carbon fiber body and an aluminum chassis so it should tip the scales at less than 1,397 kg (3,080 lbs).

In the interview given to the Wall Street Journal, Victor Mueller who is Spyker’s CEO mentioned the Venator has similar proportions with the Porsche Boxster and will be priced between $160,000 and $200,000.

He also revealed some interesting piece of information by saying Spyker will form a partnership with Youngman in order to build a “premium vehicle” which will be based on the Phoenix platform developed by SAAB.

More details about both cars will be available tomorrow when the B6 Venator will be officially revealed by Spyker.
