Toyota details the 2014 Verso
Approximately three weeks ago Toyota announced the 2014 Verso is going to be available with a BMW engine.
Now, the Japanese marque has released additional info about the car which will be available with a new Trend variant that is distinguished by blackened C-pillars, a privacy glass, fog lights and bespoke 17-inch rims.
In addition, this particular version of the Verso comes along with GPS navigation, a rearview camera and front parking sensors.
That BMW engine is a 1.6-liter diesel engine which has been fitted with new electrical interfaces, updated engine mounts and a dual-mass flywheel. The power unit is rated at 110 bhp and 270 Nm of torque and works together with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The BMW-powered Toyota Verso will do 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 12.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 115 mph. Toyota says the car has a fuel consumption of 4.5 liters / 100 km and has CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.
