Toyota GT86 Blanco launched in UK
The limited-run Toyota GT86 Blanco special edition has been launched this week in United Kingdom. Compared to the standard model, this new version can be distinguished by its GT White Pearl paint which has been combined with red and grey sports decals while the standard wheels have been removed to make room for an anthracite 18-inch ten-spoke set which has the “GT86” logo embossed.
A variety of changes have occurred inside the cabin as well, starting with the full leather upholstery, sports seats and an individually-numbered plaque mounted on the center console while heated front seats are also part of the package. Toyota is offering some optional goodies like a nine-speaker JBL audio system along with the Toyota Touch and Go infotainment system featuring satellite navigation and a touchscreen display.
There aren’t any mechanical changes so the rear-wheel drive coupe has the same flat-four 2.0-liter boxer horizontally-opposed engine with 200 PS (147 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque available at 6,600 rpm.
The Toyota GT86 Blanco special edition is going to be available on order exclusively in United Kingdom on July 1 and will carry a starting price of £28,500, with deliveries scheduled to begin a month later. Toyota UK hasn’t specified how many cars they will make, but availability is going to be limited.
