Toyota’s Japanese division has taken the wraps off the 86 Yellow Limited which as the name implies will be offered for a brief amount of time and only for the domestic market. All of the cars are going to come with a Sunrise Yellow exterior paint scheme combined with black side mirror caps and special 17-inch alloy wheels featuring black accents. Moreover, the vehicle gets some special touches inside the cabin such as black-painted trim, Alcantara and leather upholstery, as well as yellow contrast stitching to match the car’s body.
Toyota is also presenting an aerodynamic package that brings some exterior styling revisions such as a different front bumper, modified side skirts, large rear wing and a specially optimized underbody. Upgrade to the FT version of the 86 Yellow Limited aero package and you also benefit from Sachs shock absorbers, beefier brake pads and larger BBS 18-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped around in POTENZA S001 215/40 R18 front & 225/40 R18 rear tires from Bridgestone.
The limited-run Toyota GT 86 is now available on order until September 30, with production programmed to begin at the beginning of November so deliveries should start before the end of the year.
