The Toyota RAV4 Edition S has been introduced this week in Germany where it can be ordered from €30,890. The model can be had only with a four-wheel drive configuration and customers can select from either a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine with 124 HP or 150 HP, as well as from a four-cylinder 2.0-liter gasoline engine rated at 151 HP. Regardless of engine choice, output will be channeled to both axles via a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission.
What sets this model apart are the 18-inch alloy wheels along with chrome strips on the doors. It can also be visually distinguished by its silver roof rails, front & rear chrome guards, new seats and tinted rear windows. Other goodies also on the menu would have to be the keyless entry and exit system, dual-zone automatic climate control, an electric-operating boot lid along with the latest implementation of the Toyota Touch2 infotainment system which uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen display and providing support for Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The Toyota RAV4 Edition S brings savings of up to €1,750 and sits above the RAV4 Edition which doesn’t have such an extensive list of standard equipment.
