Vauxhall Mokka Crossover Gets 500,000th Order Across Europe
Vauxhall Mokka compact SUV has received its 500,000th order across Europe, ever since its official launch around three years back. Just so you know, Vauxhall Mokka features OnStar connectivity and service assistant, which keeps the owners connected to extensive services at the push of a button. In addition, the crossover has won multiple accolades across Europe such as “All-Wheel Drive Car of the Year” and “Company Car of the Year”.
Measuring 4.28 meters in length, it has the capacity to accommodate five individuals. Talking more about the OnStar, it has a wide array of services ranging from Automatic Crash Response and Roadside Assistance to Remote Vehicle Diagnostics via the myVauxhall smartphone app or a powerful 4G/LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for up to seven devices. The Vauxhall crossover is powered by a 1.6-litre CDTi turbochared diesel engine, which develops power outputs of 110PS and 136PS. It is linked to a 6-speed manual transmission, while it returns a fuel economy and emissions of 68.9mpg and 109g/km, respectively.
For those wondering, the diesel engine is also on offer with an intelligent all-wheel drive system. The 4×4 system automatically recognises where the most traction is required and divides power to front- or rear-wheels accordingly, providing a considerable boost in safety especially in wet and slippery conditions. “Customers looking for a robust, compact SUV with a high level of functionality at an affordable price should look no further than the Vauxhall Mokka,” said Simon Oldfield, Vauxhall’s Sales & Marketing Director. “Half a million sales is a huge milestone to achieve and we hope the Mokka will remain a best-seller in 2016 and beyond,” added Simon.
