Volkswagen has announced the Amarok Dark Label Edition will be offered on the UK market starting September 22. The vehicle adopts a two-tone exterior paint scheme and has received tinted windows, extended wheel arches along with a front skid plate. Other goodies include blackened 18-inch alloy wheels, tinted taillights and matte black side steps. Step inside the cabin and you will notice a multi-function steering wheel, velour floor mats, Alcantara upholstery, leather-wrapped gear knob, heated front seats as well as an infotainment system packing GPS.
Under the hood of the Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label Edition there’s a four-cylinder 2.0-liter BiTDI engine developing 180 PS (132 kW) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque. The engine is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 8-speed automatic transmission which brings regenerative braking, start/stop system and low rolling resistance tires to diminish fuel consumption.
Volkswagen says they will build only 300 units for the UK market and all will carry a starting price of £26,125.
