Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan gains R-Line packages

The Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan is heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show with two new R-Line packages. First up, the exterior kit adds sportier front & rear bumpers, updated front grille, front chrome accents and new sill extensions while the rear end hosts chrome exhaust tips and tinted taillights. Inside the cabin there are bespoke sports seats with a Race fabric for the middle panels and a San Remo microfiber applied onto the side supports. Other enhancements include a black headliner, black lead grey decorative trim, R-Line start screen for the infotainment system, door kick plates with R-Line logo, as well as decorative stitching on the gear lever, steering wheel, floor mats and door panels.

Those willing to spend more to customize their Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan can order the optional R-Line Sports Package which encompasses a more progressive steering setting, along with a sports suspension that drops the ride height by 15mm, while tinted rear windows and four alloy wheel choices (in sizes of 17 and 18 inches) are also part of the deal.

Pricing has not been disclosed, but we do know both these two packages will be installed on a showcar set to be exhibited at IAA in less than two weeks in Germany.
