British company Williams has surprised the automotive industry by announcing a partnership with Nissan’s performance division Nismo. The two parties will be working together on upcoming Nismo-branded models which will be launched starting next year. It is believed the first two products resulting from this collaboration will be the Nissan Juke Nismo RS and more importantly, the highly anticipated GT- Nismo. These two models will allegedly make use of the Williams technology derived from Formula 1.
As a reminder, the current Nissan Nismo lineup includes models such as the 2014 370Z (pictured), Juke and the facelifted Micra/March. Nissan also showcased a few weeks ago the Almera Nismo Performance Concept at the Super GT International Series in Malaysia which serves as a preview for a Nismo-tuned Almera.
