2014 Hyundai Veloster shows its face in L.A.
Aside from introducing a range-topping R-Spec version of the Veloster Turbo, Hyundai is also showcasing at this year’s Los Angeles Show an updated standard Veloster which has reached the 2014 model year. Design-wise, it looks the same as its predecessor but the car now comes with more standard goodies such as a driver’s blind spot mirror, daytime running lights, rearview camera and the firm’s Assurance Connected Care telematics system which for the first three years is free of charge. Opt for the Veloster Turbo and you also get as standard the newly developed Active Sound Design system.
Other than that, the 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo benefits from a new iteration of the TVC – Torque Vectoring Control system working together with the ESC – Electronic Stability Control in order to apply precise braking force to the inside front wheel during cornering.
