Hyundai has presented at this year’s edition of the Los Angeles Auto Show an R-Spec version of the Veloster Turbo which will sit on top of the range thanks to its added bits and pieces. Hyundai has installed a close-ratio, six-speed manual transmission that is equipped with a new shift knob. The car also has an updated suspension and comes with several steering system tweaks to make it more agile. On the outside it wears several red accents while the cabin comes with red & black cloth insert sport seats, red leatherette bolsters and a short-throw B&M Racing Sport Shifter.
Motivation of the 2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec is provided exclusively by a turbocharged, direct-injection 1.6-liter engine delivering 201 bhp (150 kW) and a peak torque of 195 lb-ft (264 Nm).
Pricing details have not been disclosed, but Hyundai says the vehicle is set to go on sale in the beginning of February.
