Lamborghini Veneno makes Geneva debut

This is the spectacular Lamborghini Veneno which will be limited to three units, each priced at an almost incredible three million euros. It was developed to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary and is based on the Aventador. At its heart is a V12 6.5-liter engine outputting 750 HP (552 kW) mated to a 7-speed ISR gearbox sending all those ponies to the permanent AWD system. With a curb weight of 3,190 lbs (1,450 kg), the Veneno will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds en route to a top speed of 220 mph (355 km/h), promising to be a worthy adversary for the 2013 LaFerrari and the McLaren P1 which also were revealed in Geneva this week.

The hypercar comes with a carbon fiber aerodynamic body featuring huge air channels and Y-shaped headlights. We also notice the massive intakes, the typical scissor doors, as well as a large diffuser and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. Lamborghini also installed an adjustable rear wing and a ventilated engine cover, while the alloys are made specifically for this model.

All three cars will feature a metallic grey exterior finish showing several sections manufactured from carbon fiber, along with tri-color accents showcasing the Italian flag.
