2016 Chevrolet Silverado revealed with modified front fascia

The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado has made its debut online and will be going on sale this fall in United States. It’s relatively early for a full-on facelift as the model was launched for the 2014MY and now it has received several cosmetic revisions to the front fascia which as you can see no longer has so much chrome. They also reshaped the fog lights that seem to have LEDs now while the front grille is adorned with a body-colored strip while on the sides of the grille reside dual strips of LED daytime running lights. This particular car is the Z71 variant and also features a modified hood along with a less obtrusive front bumper.

The 2016 Chevrolet Silverado will be offered with additional safety kit along with the latest iteration of the company’s MyLink infotainment system that provides support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The vehicle’s eight-speed automatic transmission is going to be available to a wider extent than before.

No further details are available at this point, but Chevrolet promises they will release full information closer to the model’s public debut programmed for sometime this fall, so sales will kick off before the end of 2015 at prices very similar to those of the 2015MY Silverado 1500.
