Chrysler introduces 300 Motown Edition
Chrysler has announced the availability of a new special edition version of the 300 model. Available in one of the following four colors: Deep Cherry Red, Gloss Black, Bright White and Jazz Blue, this model is distinguished by the shiny 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, special badging and bright chrome trim that makes the car stand out. Changes on the outside are limited, with the most significant changes happening inside the luxurious cabin where we find seats wrapped around in Pearl White Nappa leather with perforated inserts, debossed Motown logos and black piping. Other than that, there are Piano Black accents and an elegant Black Olive Ash wood trim.
Under the hood of the 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown Edition is the familiar V6 3.6-liter engine producing 292 hp (218 kW) and a peak torque of 352 Nm (260 lb-ft). Power is sent to the wheels with the help of an 8-speed automatic gearbox that allows the vehicle to return 31 mpg US on the highway.
To further emphasize the connection with Motown, inside the cabin it also has a 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system that comes preloaded with one hundred songs from Motown recording artists.
Scheduled to go on sale in the spring of 2013, Chrysler has announced a starting price of $32,995.
