2013 Chrysler 300 Glacier Edition revealed

Following a previous announcement, Chrysler has introduced the 300 Glacier Edition which is based on the 300S model. What makes this different than the stock model would have to be the black chrome accents, gloss black mirrors and a set of exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels. Clients will be able to get this car with a bespoke Glacier Blue Pearl exterior and a gloss black roof.

The interior cabin doesn’t have a lot of modifications over the standard model but we should mention the leather/cloth sport seats, die-cast steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and the elegant piano black trim.

The 2013 Chrysler 300 Glacier Edition can be equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine pumping out 300 hp (224 kW) or a significantly more powerful HEMI V8 5.7-liter unleashing 363 hp (271 kW). Power is sent to an all-wheel drive system, regardless of the engine choice.

Chrysler also mentions in the official press release that they have added so-called “matte carbon hydrographic” accents and Glacier-embroidered special floor mats for the interior cabin.

Already on sale, this special edition of the Chrysler 300 has a starting price of $36,845 without taking into consideration the additional destination charge which adds an extra $995 to the car’s final price tag.
