Kia cee’d GT first photo emerges
Approximately two weeks ago KIA revealed the three-door pro_cee’d GT which will get its public debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show. Now, the first photo with the five-door cee’d GT version has emerged on the Internet. The more practical variant borrows the same more aggressive body kit of the coupe and also the 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and red brake calipers. Although there aren’t any photos of the interior, both cars are expected to feature Recaro sport seats.
The cee’d GT and pro_cee’d GT will be the star of KIA’s booth at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Power of both versions will come from a 1.6-liter GDI turbocharged engine producing 150 kW (201 hp) and a maximum torque of 265 Nm (195 lb-ft). This power will be transferred to the front wheels with the help of a 6-speed manual gearbox. Regardless of the body style, both cars will need 7.9 seconds in order to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint.
KIA has previously mentioned that the three-door pro_cee’d GT is scheduled to go on sale in mid-2013, whereas the five-door hatchback will arrive before the end of this year.
