Lamborghini introduces Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce in Geneva
Lamborghini has finally introduced the much awaited Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. Compared to the standard model, the SV version comes with an extra 50 HP for a grand total of 750 HP (552 kW) while the weight has gone down by 50 kg to 1,525 kg after using more carbon fiber. These changes have allowed Lamborghini to slash 0.1 seconds from the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) which now takes just 2.8 seconds before hitting a maximum speed in excess of 217 mph (350 km/h).
Torque has remained the same at 690 Nm while the aerodynamic efficiency has been boosted by 150%. In addition, there’s an additional 170% of downforce created by the more aggressive body which wears a Rosso Bia color and is combined with a black Alcantara interior. The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce will be offered in five other body hues and all cars are getting 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
Pricing kicks off at €327,190 and the supercar comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes. Lamborghini says the Aventador SV will go on sale by the end of this spring.
