Opel has started to sell the Cascada Turbo in Germany where it carries a starting price of 29,490 euros. For this money you get a mid-sized convertible powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder ECOTEC engine developing 200 HP and 300 Nm of torque. The car will need 9.2 seconds in fifth gear from 80 km/h to 120 km/h on its way to a top speed of 235 km/h. Opel says the Cascada Turbo can return 35.1 mpg US (42.1 mpg UK or 6.7 liters / 100 km) with CO2 emissions of 158 g/km.
The Cascada is now available with two fresh exterior paint jobs called double-layer metallic Magnetic Silver and pearlescent Emerald Green lacquer. In addition, customers can order the soft top with a new light Khaki Grey hue and for the interior there’s the latest iteration of the IntelliLink system that can optionally receive a rearview camera.
