The Toyota Avensis facelift has made its online debut prior to a public introduction early next month at the Geneva Motor Show. It’s actually the second facelift for the current third generation and this time the car was styled in France while the technical tweaks were created at Toyota’s R&D center in Belgium. The company says their mid-size sedan and wagon will be equipped with new engines which will bring not only improved efficiency but also better performance. Moreover, the comfort equipment and safety have been boosted as well.

The Toyota Avensis facelift is going to benefit from a revised chassis and an upgraded interior cabin and we expect the rear fascia to go through some cosmetic changes. This second facelift of the model will be commercialized until around 2018 when the model will be discontinued and chances are it will not receive a direct replacement.
