The French automaker Peugeot introduced the facelifted version of its gorgeous RCZ coupe back in September at the 2013 Paris Motor Show. Now, time has come to announce pricing information for the variant sold in the United Kingdom, before the vehicle hits dealerships in the second week of January 2013. Peugeot has decided to stick to the same two trim levels and engine lineup for the new model year, with on-the-road (OTR) prices beginning from 21,595 pounds if opting for the Sport trim, making it 385 pounds more expensive than the outgoing version. Those opting for the GT model have to pay at least 23,995 pounds.
The 2013 Peugeot RCZ in the Sport trim rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and comes nicely equipped with amenities such as rear parking aid, dual-zone air conditioning, USB and Bluetooth support, automatic lightning and a new leather and leather/Alcantara package for the seats, a novelty for the 2013 version.
If you have more money to spare, you can opt for the GT model which according to Peugeot is selected by more than 80 percent of UK buyers. This one comes with larger 19-inch alloys and brings leather seats that are optionally available in Cohiba Brown color, along with a full interior sports package that includes a new gear lever and steering wheel.
In late 2013, Peugeot plans on introducing the more powerful RCZ R model that has a retuned suspension and a more potent 1.6-liter, twin-scroll turbo engine pumping out 260 hp.
