2014 Hyundai Xcent launched in India
Hyundai has launched a very small sedan in India today that goes by the name of Xcent. Not to be confused with the Accent, the new baby sedan from Hyundai is a sub four meter car which will have to face some stiff competition coming from the Ford Figo sedan and the Tata ZEST. One of the main features of the cars which its rivals lack would have to be the rear ventilation along with several stowing spaces spread throughout the tiny cabin. Also part of the package will be rear parking sensors, automatic air conditioning, one-touch electric trunk opening and auto-folding mirrors.
Motivation for the 2014 Hyundai Xcent will be provided by a 1.2-liter gasoline engine borrowed from the Grand i10 hatchback, along with a diesel 1.4-liter from the Verna and i20. Hyundai plans to offer the Xcent with both manual and automatic transmissions.
