Nissan has revealed online this week the 2014 e-NV200 which will be shown to the public for the first time on the occasion of the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show which is programmed for next week. The car was previewed a while back by the e-NV200 concept and draws its styling from the Leaf, especially when we look at the front fascia with those familiar blue-tinted headlights and the rounded curves. Where you would find a grille in a conventional-powered vehicle, the e-NV200 has a charging port to fill up the battery pack of the lithium-ion type.
Nissan did not provide photos of the interior cabin but they did say the car is equipped with an advanced telematics system and benefits from a rear power supply which can be utilized to provide necessary power for emergency situations or four various outdoor events. Technical details have not been provided but we remind you that the concept had an electric motor capable of generating 109 HP and an instant torque of 280 Nm.
It will go on sale sometime in 2014 in Japan but plans are to sell the car across the globe.
