2014 Nissan Maxima revealed with modest updates

Nissan has introduced this week the 2014 model year for the Altima which sees the introduction of an optional Limited Edition Package available exclusively for the 3.5 S model. Priced at $750, the package encompasses 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights with a smoked finish, rear spoiler, fog lights, compass in the rearview mirror, exterior mirrors, as well as additional metallic trim. The 3.5 S model has a starting price of $31,000 not taking into account the $810 destination fees. The more premium 3.5 SV starts at $34,900, making it $850 more expensive than it was for 2013MY.
The price hike is understandable given that Nissan has included as standard equipment SiriusXM Satellite Radio, 7-inch QVGA color monitor, RearView Monitor, USB support and xenon headlights. Clients are now able to order the car in one of the two new paintjobs: Gun Metallic and Midnight Garnet. Just as before, the 2014 Maxima is motivated by a 3.5-liter V6 engine outputting 290 bhp sent to the wheels via an Xtronic CVT.
