2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro announced

Toyota will be participating in the Baja 1000 event with the 2015 Tundra Pro which is programmed to take part in the Full Size Stock Class. Toyota says this is a “lightly modified” truck equipped with a Chromoly roll cage, Hella auxiliary lights, 17-inch wheels shod in 37-inch Baja T/A KR tires while the stopping power is provided by a high-performance braking system. As you would expect, it has received an off-road suspension setup while on the inside there are two navigation systems, Mastercraft racing seats and a communications system.
The 2015 Toyota Tundra Pro seen here comes with a modified V8 5.7-liter engine equipped with a bespoke cold air intake, a cat back exhaust system which have probably taken the output beyond the stock engine which puts out 381 bhp and a peak torque of 543 Nm.
Toyota has announced the off-road truck will be driven by Jamie Bestwick, Andy Bell, Ted Moncure and Ryan Millen, with Toyota Trucks Chief Engineer Mike Sweers working as navigator.
